Dr. Elena Tsoy, PhD

Dr. Elena Tsoy is a bilingual neuropsychologist with primary interests in early detection of neurodegenerative disease, multicultural neuropsychology, and social determinants of health and healthcare disparities in ADRD. She works on elucidating social and structural factors underlying disparities in dementia diagnosis and care nationally and internationally and on development and validation of novel digital cognitive assessment tools for detection and diagnosis of cognitive disorders in underserved populations. An overarching goal of Dr. Tsoy’s research is to advance dementia prevention and care in diverse populations and lay the foundation for equity-based therapeutic and diagnostic practices which would improve lives of all older adults.
