Vanessa Roknic is an innovation leader with more than 18 years of healthcare experience worldwide. An experienced people manager and networker, Vanessa has lived and worked across four countries. She recognizes that embracing the nuances of cultural differences makes teams stronger. Her extensive R&D background includes expert knowledge of front-end drug development and regulatory requirements. As a key customer liaison, she cultivates relationships with HCPs, HCIs, pharmacists, and vendors.
At Novo Nordisk (NNI), Vanessa is responsible for overseeing the operations and expansion of NNI's first internal innovation incubator, Apis Labs. She leads new internal and external strategic partnerships, change management, and advocates for a new way of working for the organization.
Vanessa holds an M.B.A. from Colorado State University and a B.S.c. in medical microbiology, immunology, and genetics from The University of New South Wales (UNSW).
